Have you done this yet and free book launch webinar - Booklinker February 2026 Broadcast #1

2/10/2026

Hello!

Last week I was at a writers conference in Colorado Springs talking with authors about Booklinker, participating on a panel and teaching a workshop on building and growing a newsletter.

After 4 days of talking with authors about Booklinker and how it can help them with their marketing, I am energized. First, I do love being around authors and talking "shop." Second, I am reminded why Booklinker is such a great tool.

  • Super easy to create a link to a book
  • For wide authors, it allows readers to buy from their store of choice
  • It directs readers to the correct Amazon store anywhere in the world
  • The landing page looks great
  • AND it's free.

Then there are the Collection pages. Raise your hand if you have created a Collection page. Ok, some of you have. For the rest of you, you're missing out.

With these pages you can feature more than one book. This works great for a series, you can have one page/link for all of your books, one for all your first in series... there are so many ways to use it. And the books don't have to all be yours. You can create collections around a theme; your favorite books, other books in your genre, the books on your current TBR list...

And there is one link that directs readers to the page. Then each of the books on the page are clickable.

How to set up a Collections Page:

  • Open your Booklinker account and go to Your Links
  • Create links for all your books
  • On the homepage under "Your Links" click on Collections
  • Click "New" to create a new collection (the name you choose will be at the top of the page)
  • Click on your Books page and click the books you want to add to a collection
  • Go to Collections page to check that your books were added. You can always edit if you need to make changes or adjust the order of the books.
  • SHARE LINK

Here is a Collections page for my First In Series books:

Here is a page with all my books:

Am I biased because I work for Booklinker? Absolutely, but there is a reason I wanted to work for the company. I believe in what they do and how they support authors. I am 100% behind this tool for authors and it's free!

COLLECTION PAGE CHALLENGE

Create your own Collection Page and share the link with me. I will share those in the next Booklinker Broadcast. If I get some really good ones (which I'm confident I will), I will add them to the weekly readers newsletter.

Show me your Collection Pages!

🌟 Social Media Metrics That Matter More Than Your Followers Count

Follower count is the shiny object everyone chases. It looks great on a profile, but it’s often a hollow number. The truth is, your follower count doesn’t show whether people care about what you create. Follower count doesn’t tell you reach, engagement, or growth. What does matter are the signals that tell you how your audience is actually interacting with your work.

Draft2Digital CEO Details How AI Is Actually Affecting the Industry

I found this article very interesting (and eye-opening) regarding AI.

When artificial intelligence tools began producing artificially generated content, some authors embraced the tools; others worried about a surge of AI-created content drowning out human voices in the industry. Several years later, however, Draft2Digital CEO Kris Austin says the reality of AI’s influence is much more muted than people think.

🌟 9 Go-To Self-Publishing News Sources for Authors

Staying on top of self-publishing news — whether it’s an Amazon algorithm shift, a new platform feature, or a major policy change that affects how you publish or get paid — can help you spot opportunities early and avoid costly mistakes. But with so many blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and discussion groups out there, where should you actually spend your time? This article shares some of news sources the team at BookBub uses and recommend.

One book link, Every store Booklinker.com 4/7/2026 Hello, It's springtime in the U.S. which means one thing...spring cleaning! There is one area of cleaning most of us forget about and no it's not washing your windows. I'm talking about a spring cleaning for your books. There are elements of our author business that happen behind the scenes that need some occasional attention. Think of it like cleaning out the pantry or a closet. There are probably things in there you don't need anymore or...

One book link, Every store Booklinker.com 3/22/2026 Hello, "Just Do it." Nike is definitely on to something here. It's short and to the point. There really is no way to misunderstand the statement. It's straightforward and requires action. But notice one thing. The word "all" is no where to be found. It is not "Just Do It All." By adding that one small word, the phrase becomes instantly overwhelming. I've seen many authors (including myself) dive head first into a "Just Do It All" kind of...
